Primary and secondary schools in the state will be closed from March 2020 due to Covid-19. The decision to reopen schools that were closed seven months ago was made at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Vijay Rupani that it was decided to start educational work in schools after Diwali. He said that the start-up of the first secondary and secondary schools is being considered and the final decision will be taken after consultation with the Ministry of Health.
