 Primary and secondary schools in the state will be closed from March 2020 due to Covid-19.  The decision to reopen schools that were closed seven months ago was made at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.  Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Vijay Rupani that it was decided to start educational work in schools after Diwali.  He said that the start-up of the first secondary and secondary schools is being considered and the final decision will be taken after consultation with the Ministry of Health.

      Action plan to prepare

      Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Gandhinagar Regional Cabinet meeting suggested to start the school.  Ministers, including Prime Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Prime Minister Nitin Patel, spoke.  The Cabinet has finally approved the reopening of schools that have been closed since March 2020. Although Kovid-19 has not yet been fully released, it has been decided to plan in advance for the development of school management rules. 

      According to him, a meeting will be held with senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Nitin Patel and Minister of Education.  The meeting will prepare an action plan on the rules to be followed for running schools.  Minister Chudasama said, schools will be reopened following the action plan, he said.
