Jio 5G Roll Out Date Launch
Jio is yet to formally announce the launch date of its 5G service, but recently, Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani said the company will celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” with a pan-India 5G rollout.
In such a situation, it will not be wrong to say that Jio 5G can be launched on August 15. The company may announce 5G through pilot testing with some metro cities in India. After pilot testing, this service will be launched across the country in 2 to 3 phases.
Jio 5G Supported Cities in India
Jio has bought 5G bands for all 22 circles. So it is not wrong to say that the company will launch its 5G service in all these 22 cities. According to a report, the company’s 5G services will initially be launched in 9 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jamnagar.
Other cities like Pune, Chandigarh, Gurugram and Gandhinagar may join this soon. Apart from this, Jio has completed 5G coverage planning in more than 1000 cities. For this, Jio has used heat map, 3D map and ray tracing technology.
When will you get the new Jio 5G SIM?
5G SIM will also be made available whenever the 5G service is launched. However, it has not yet been announced whether you will need a 5G SIM for the 5G network. So for now it can be said that if you have Jio 4G SIM, you will be able to use Jio 5G service without any problem or SIM upgrade.
