Avatar feature on WhatsApp! Along with sending messages, users can also put a profile photo
After a steady stream of new features on WhatsApp, the messaging service has started rolling out the avatar feature to some beta testers as well. In fact, WABetaInfo has received information that WhatsApp has released a new version 2.22.24.4 to the Google Beta Program. It has been said that WhatsApp had earlier released the iOS beta for iOS 22.23. For that it has been re-introduced.
WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot about it, in which its look can be seen. It looks similar to the Facebook avatar.
WB informed that users who want to use it on WhatsApp can check if they have got this feature or not. For this they have to go to WhatsApp account and go to settings. If you don’t see this feature here, you have to wait for the next update.
After setting an avatar, users can also present it as a sticker in chatting by going to the avatar page in the chat keyboard.
Apart from this, an avatar can also be set on the profile photo. It is being said that this feature is only available to some beta testers at the moment, and it may be rolled out in the coming weeks.
