Roads and dividers near the aerodrome on the riverfront are also being leveled. Operations are being carried out day and night on a war footing.
Morning walkers are banned from walking on the riverfront from Ambedkar Bridge to Jamalpur Bridge. Citizens will not be able to take a morning walk on this walkway for two days. Morning walkers have been banned as part of Prime Minister Modi’s security.

Modi will unveil 17 projects at Kevadia including Jungle Safari, Handloom and Handicraft, Ekta Mall, Children Nutrition Park, Unity Glow Garden, Cactus Garden. 9 will unveil the plaque of Project Jetty and Boating Navigation Channel, New Gorabridge, Garudeshwar Weir, Ekta Nursery, Khalwani Eco Tourism, Government Settlements, Bus Terminus and Home Stay Project. The Statue of Unity will also sit in a 40-minute ride from the nearest jetty to the jetty near Shrestha Bharat Bhavan.
While Kevadia is ablaze with over a billion lights, the statue will also unveil permanently decorated decorative lighting in an area of up to 25 km around it and specially designed decorative lighting for Sardar Sarovar Dam. 4 The new project will lay the foundation stone of the Statue of Unity Area Development Authority’s administrative building, government settlements, SRP quarters as well as the ideal village settlement of 400 houses to house the affected people of five villages.
