Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to start sea-plane service in Gujarat from Kevadia to Ahmedabad on October 31.
From today, SPG and local police have taken over the front on Sabarmati riverfront. The SPG team has started checking on the walkway near the sea-plane. Barricades have been erected on the riverfront near the C-Plane Water Aerodrome.
The curtains have been hung by rallying on both sides of the road. Painting is being done on Sardar Bridge and Chandranagar Bridge. Tight police cordon has been set up on Riverfront Road.
The corona is being tested at the waterfront aerodrome on the riverfront and at the staff and officers attending the Sea-Plane Prime Minister’s event.
Rapid tests of fire brigade personnel and officers will also be conducted. Preparations are being made to clean up the walkway space near the C-plane and make it look like a small stage.

Morning walkers are banned from walking on the riverfront from Ambedkar Bridge to Jamalpur Bridge. Citizens will not be able to take a morning walk on this walkway for two days. Morning walkers have been banned as part of Prime Minister Modi’s security.
By-elections are being held on 8 seats of Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The BJP and Congress are campaigning vigorously in the wake of the November 3 by-elections. An election rally was held in Sayla in support of BJP candidate Kirit Singh Rana from Limbdi assembly constituency, which was also attended by Ahmedabad Mayor Bijal Patel. However, while talking about the work done by the BJP, he said that Article 360 instead of 370 has been removed from Jammu and Kashmir due to debris, the video of which has gone viral on social media.
