How to update Aadhar Information online
UIDAI has made it easy for people to update or repair Aadhaar cards online and offline. Here are some short update or correction process for Aadhaar card where people can easily update and correct their electronic Aadhaar card information. Follow the steps below to update your Aadhaar card address, name, date of birth, mobile number, email id online and offline by visiting the Aadhaar Registration / Update Center.
Steps to update your Aadhaar card by visiting the registration center
- You can visit the Aadhaar Service Center for details of the Aadhaar update. Here’s how to do it easily:
- Fill out a support correction form, e.g. https://uidai.gov.in/images/aadhaar_enrolment_correction_form_version_2.1.pdf
- Make sure you enter the correct information, not the information listed in the base.
- Get certified copies of proof supporting your renewal application.
- Submit the document along with the documents.
- You need Rs. For each visit to the registration center for update or patch 25.
- Biometric registration data, photos, mobile phone number etc. in the registration center.
- Aadhar card mobile number can also be changed or updated at the registration center.
- You can also visit many banks to renew your Aadhaar card. For example, the Axis Bank Aadhaar update allows you to make changes to your Aadhaar card by visiting the nearest Axis Bank branch.
How to update Aadhar Information online
Generally anyone can change the address, name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email ID on the Aadhaar card. Follow these steps to update / modify / correct your Aadhaar card information online
Step 1. Log in to the Support Self Service Update Portal and click on the Update on Address Online button.
Step 2. If you have proof of a valid address, click the Continue button to update the address.
Step 3. In the new window, enter your 12-digit base number and click “Send OTP” or “Enter TOTP”.
Step 4. OTP will be sent to the mobile phone number registered in the UIDAI database.
Step 5. Enter this OTP to access your support account. Alternatively, you can use the TOTP feature to verify
Step 6. Select “Update Proof with Address Proof” or “Update Address with Secret Code”
Step 7. Enter your residence address as shown on Address Confirmation (POA) and click the Preview button
Step 8. If you want to change your address, click “Change”, otherwise check the ad and click “Submit”.
Step 9. Select the type of document you want to submit as POA for verification and download the scanned copy of proof of address and click the submit button.
Step 10. Your support update request will be accepted and a 14-digit URN will be generated
You can use the Update Request Number (URN) to check the update status of your base address. After updating, you can download and print the updated version of your Aadhaar card.
